They went to former nanny Jadwiga's home, but she's found beaten to death there, besides a boy's cuddly toy. The team deduces an ex-con suspects shortlist, but Lucas initially keeps silent which one he recognizes and fails in a solo-rescue attempt. Yet fiend Tony Cuypers now demands a ransom, leading to a failed handover and a wild chase.
