The Life Force reaches the Dong Ting Village Medical Centre. Dr SHI, nurse HE LIN and a local doctor JIANG lead the team to visit the prevention centre and explain to them their progress in preventing pulmonary tuberculosis. A boy BO comes to see Dr JIANG. FUN suspects that BO is infected with the TB virus, and it has already got into his bones, after seeing his swollen legs. Dr JIANG disagrees. ZHENG returns to his home. His elder brother FEI beats him up and kicks him out. His father YI ignores him. SHI and LIN show FUN and KIU around. They see LIN’s artificial limbs and realise that LIN is ZHENG’s sister.
