One year has passed since Yukiko and Morio parted ways. Yukiko graduates from school and begins working as an office worker at a food related company. Meanwhile, Morio, now unemployed again, has returned to his hometown from Kagoshima. One day, two people in the group unexpectedly decide to get married and Yukiko and Morio meet for the first time in a long time. However, when Morio finds out that Yukiko didn't break up with him for Hiyama, he feels he can't face her now that he's unemployed and asks his friends to pretend he's not there.
