This episode saw the conclusion of the lightweight championship, with both semi-finals followed by the title-decider. Chuck Pitzer and Alpha Raptor first fought Fon Davis and Mouser Mecha-Catbot, before Jim Smentowski's lightweight Backlash faced Das Bot. The winners of each fight met in the final, contesting for the first Giant Nut of the season. The episode premiered on October 18, 2000.
