FUNG falls in love with KEI and is dragged into her trap bit by bit. KIT is shocked yet ashamed to know that TING had never given up on him and would do whatever he could in support of him. FUNG proposes to rename the hotel, which is strongly opposed by KIT. KIT wants to stop FUNG but ends up being insulted in front of others. FUNG would like to appoint KUEN to the post of General Manager but KUEN turns him down for the sake of righteousness. A department head has organized a petition against the proposed renaming of the hotel. FUNG consults KEI for advice on the issue and KEI suggests he should take an uncompromising stand. This is actually the advice from FAT, who would like to take this opportunity to sow discord between FUNG and his staff. He believes that his chance will come when everyone has turned against FUNG.
