Steven is not sure if the confession of Marian could influence the trial, but Rodney, frustrated over how long the trial is lasting, tells him and Leslie it's not relevant. Allison is confused to hear Marian hit her and realizes Russ Gehring knew all along. Elliot overhears the conversation and confronts Russ with ignoring the law by hiding the truth. Eli offers to loan Norman money to finish college, so he can have a better future than working as his assistant, but Norman refuses.
